Scratch ranch dressing
This is better than anything you'll get in a bottle or from a powdered mix.
- 1 clove garlic
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup Italian flat-leaf parsley (leaves only, minced)
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill (minced)
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives (minced )
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon white vinegar
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
- ⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Dash hot sauce (I recommend Crystal)
- ¼ to ½ cup buttermilk (to desired consistency)

In a bowl, mix all the ingredients except the buttermilk. Whisk well.

Slowly add buttermilk to desired consistency. Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.
