Hawaiian BBQ sauce

Sweet, salty, and spicy, this Hawaiian-style BBQ sauce is good on chicken and pork

  • ⅓ cup ketchup
  • ⅓ cup brown Sugar
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup pineapple juice
  • 2 Tablespoons sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic (Grated on a microplane or minced fine)
  • 1 fresh ginger (grated on a microplane)
  • 1 teaspoon Rice Vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons Chili Garlic Sauce (recommend sambal olek)
  1. Place all ingredients in a small sauce pan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer. Cook for 15 minutes, then remove from heat and let cool. Store refrigerated in an air tight container.
