How to make a basic vinaigrette dressing

  • ¼ Cup Vinegar
  • ¾ Cup Oil
  • ½ Tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt (optional, to taste)
  • Sugar (optional, to taste)
  1. Whisk the vinegar and mustard together

  2. While vigorously whisking, slowly drizzle in the oil until incorporated and dressing thickens slightly

  3. Store in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks

Vinaigrette dressing is simple and versatile, and takes just 5 minutes to make!
